May I suggest that you check out the nanoha wiki? It has a list of what the devices say per episode. I’m not saying that they are all correct, but you can use them as references. I’ve read through them and some of them seem to make better sense.

Appreciate the releases, but…
Just skip the next episode and go straight into 17. It’s obvious that the main storyline will already be at it’s climax by the time to subs are caught up. Besides, most of the next few eps. is set-up other than 17, as Mcguire once said, ‘Would you rather know the dark and terrifying truth or watch me hit a few dingers?’
Reasonably sure most of the audience is still watching to see something asplode.

Fencedude, hi and thank you for your comments that you have left for us. If you personally are unhappy with the subs or the sub release times please feel free to make your own. The point of these fansubs are for the staff and friends of yesy to enjoy, not to please the world of demanding leechers. Not all fansub groups are the same, some can release in 24 hours after airing, some can not. I personally know that yesy would never hold back a release just for the hell of it. If after this message you hate yesy and will never watch our subs again so be it. I hope you enjoyed watching our episodes 1-15. If in the future you decide to come back, we will be happy to see you download from us. Thank you and have a nice day.

As for creating my own subs, if I had the resources to do so, don’t you think I would already? That is the silliest damn argument people use in these situations.

@Starfreeze-sama – Certain peeps who shall remain nameless seem to regard patience as an alien concept. Ignore them (they should gb2 /a/, with all the trolls who keep saying ‘Where’s My Sucking Fubs?!’ ad nauseam). If they want to keep up with the series on their own, let them either learn Japanese, or get a group of likeminded friends together (including a translator), download the RAWs, do the subtitles on a computer, re-encode & release their own subs. But since they can’t (or are too lazy to do so), they should just WAIT for YesY to bring out their superior subs of Nanoha StrikerS. Yesy have no complaints from me!

What does irk me is that nobody else is subbing Nanoha (no offense Yesy). I mean at this point Nanoha’s a fairly big niche name on the internet at this point. Well there’s DGZ, but at the rate they work Geneon will have subbed the entire series and have them for sale at the local store.
What I wouldn’t give for some speed subs.

Put Polyphonica on hiatus until after StrikerS is over (nobody’s watching anyways… how Polyphonica posts do you see between /a/ and animesuki in a day? Especially compared to StrikerS) and catch up on StrikerS!

The delay is probably not related to Polyphonica. The staff also could care less about /a/ I’m sure
aers is right, polyphonica does not delay nanoha at all. Some of the staff just work on it when they have free time which is why it slowly gets released. Nanoha is put on top priority but if it’s stuck on something, you can’t magically make it pass that part and I guess people have a hard time understanding this. Ohh wells. I <3 both poly and nanoha. ^^

I think Yesy fansubs is trying their best to give us a best episode for nanoha series why dont we be a bit patients and wait for it. I sure they are trying their best ^_^
Well, since I’m a big fan of Nanoha series myself, to be honest sometimes I feel impatient waiting for new sub to be release. But, every situation always has a good side of it. If not because Nanoha sub is a bit too slow, I wouldnt know such series as Polyphonica. and now I should say to yessy staff thanks a lot from my bottom heart since because Nanoha Striker S a bit delayed, I could know such wonderful series called Polyphonica.
A lot of good things happened because of StrikerS delay actually. Aside from Polyphonica, I could finish watching other series from other subs such as Shining Windx Tears, starting watching Zero no Tsukaima 1st season which I quickly follow the second season…
As well as the most important thing is return to my enjoyment for playing (cough) Super Robot Taisen OGs game that had been delayed because I’m to obsessed by StrikerS.
So, for Yessy staff and Starfreeze, once again thank you very much for this effort. I’m still hoping that you will be able to release Ep 16 onward as fast as you can, but don’t force yourself too hard since I realize you’re doing you all doing your best here…
One month late is not a big problem since eventually, I/ we will see those episodes…is just a bit delay everyone…so cheer up and look at the brighter side of this situation ^__^

No, they aren’t busy, one of their group members who was working on StrikerS has vanished. They need to quit waiting for him to return and just sub the damn show.
Also, being free doesn’t mean that we can’t complain.
And learn to fucking spell.
Patience is a virtue… Let it be, let it be… we are only human… we have our own problems, they will have their problems, they will post it sooner or later… if you are not virtuous go sub it yourselves, or convince another group to sub it (reconvince TheTriad for example), go do something more productive with your life… let us just hope that they will put it out soon, in the best quality they can, as soon as possible, and encourage them then harrass them with your comments annoying them discouraging them…
I apologize for those who have abused you, annoyed you, disturbed you or caused your delay… And thank you for subbing these episodes for our entertainment, for nothing in return… (doesn’t this seem so very familiar…)
PS. I wonder how many complaints there are in total… it seems no matter how fast you can sub the viewers can never be satisfied… I shall then apologize for that also…

Ep 16 – 20 for this weeks…around five episodes behind. I hope Yesy find a way to break free from any problem that made Nanoha StrikerS subs stuck without progress since I’m waiting for this series as well. Anyway, in the meantime, I could use my time for more productive and entertaining stuff such as watching other animes or updating playing my RPG games that hasnt been touched for a while…
So, the point is, whinning, cursing and angry isnt going to get this shows being subbed faster. So, rather than wasting our energy, why dont we just wait patiently until the day Yesy could catch up with their fall behind…and I dont think it would take too long hopefully ^_^/
For Starfreeze, keep on doing good work with the rest of Yesy staff and like you I also big fan of Nanoha and Polyphonica…those two shows are great…and I’m waiting Poly as well to be updated until finish since the show already finish airing in Japan…
I’m not going to criticize anyone for not having subbed episode 20 yet, that would just be cruel. Those demands are better left on /a/. But seriously, if there is a problem, you should put out some kind of notice explaining why you’re so far behind. Hopefully we’ll get an excuse better than “because we sub for our families and not for anyone else”. Also, is there any way you could just release an .ass file? That would quiet everyone down.
Not to rush you or anything but wheres ep 16? Im glad that your the only one subbing strikers but it feels like the group i watched Himawari with cause they sub a episode every 2-5 weeks ^^;
The real question is — Is there anything that any of us in the community could assist with?
I think it’s obvious that most fan-sub groups are like swans — wanting to be serene on the surface, but concealing a lot of thrashing about under the waterline. however that means the rest of us not knowing what the sticking point is.
And that means that not even those who might have the requisite skills are in a position to offer behind the scenes assistance in an everybody-wins fashion.
Mr. Tines, I believe you’re perfectly right. And I think most members of this community would stay calm if we would get a little piece of information when or whether it will go on with these really wonderful animes… (no specified release dates, but perhaps a little “it will take another week / two weeks / 3.75 years / …”

And seriously, where the hell are the vulture groups when we actually NEED them? Why is nobody picking up yesy’s (now enormous) slack? Fansubbing has FAIL’D.
That’s what I’m saying, at 5 episodes behind StrikerS is a BIG show (as far as niche shows are concerned). Yet nobody will sub those 5 episodes; no speed subbing savior has appeared. What a sad time… Where are you speed subbers? I need you to tie me over until Yesy resolves their dilemmas!
has anyone spoken to the Triad group? They are so mean i just told them that Magical Girl Nanoha StikerS is great and they sent me a letter telling me its trash. I think its the best one yet. I cant wait for the next episodes to come out. Keep up the good work! YESY RULES!!
