Project Dropped :(

Hi,

Here at yesy, we deeply regret dropping any project that we’ve decided to start. Due to the loss of a translator, our Zero no Tsukaima: Futatsuki no Kishi project cannot be continued. This is the only project being dropped. Thank you for your support through StrikerS and Polyphonica, and your interest in Zero no Tsukaima. Episode 3, The Three Vallière Sisters, was nearing release, but if we are not continuing to sub the series, our encoder is too busy at this point to provide an encode. The script is now yours for use provided any references to yesy are not removed.

ZNT Episode 03

Thank you,
Yesy-Fansubs

I was wondering could you possibly do Naruto Shippuden episodes? I been wanting to see them.

  2. GRAvataer Krinen on August 13th, 2007 at 11:47 pm

    That’s…. Harsh.

Just as I was starting to get into ZnT, too…

Well, I hate to sound mean by this, but who else might be subbing ZnT:FnK?

  3. GRAvataer thedarkhaze on August 14th, 2007 at 12:08 am

Many many groups are subbing ZnT:FnK check http://www.baka-updates.com/releases.php for groups

  4. GRAvataer ThLstN on August 14th, 2007 at 1:17 am

    Ah that’s not good!
But luckily static sub had started subbing it though…

  5. GRAvataer Andy on August 14th, 2007 at 1:31 am

You can also use anidb for groups, the link for the ZnT: FnK is http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=4915

    aniDB.net http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=4915&showallag=1

has YaMom, KuroNeko, toki, and Static Subs doing this.

Oh. It’s a pity, but losing a translator certainly is an understandable reason.

  8. GRAvataer badai06 on August 14th, 2007 at 11:26 am

1 of all….i really sad that this sereis is drop…but i think it better for yesy from a lost of translator…keep it up….stay focus on the othe sereis…i hope no more sereis after this expecially nanoha….it was at climax now….so i really thankfully to yesy for doing such a great job…n for katie…just go to dattebayo since it was difficult asking when naruto already been licensed…only dattebayo have the right to subbed it n publish it on torrent….of cause other fansub was doing the subb from the raw that dattebayo make….just go to somewhere else…i think it very dificult to subbed it when it get licensed…it mean trouble

Well I’m sorry to hear about you guys dropping it. This is one series I’m going to enjoy following and the quality you guys bring is always great. But losing a translator is hard I know and you’ve got to do what is best overall. Happy you could let us know about it. Good luck with Nanoha and Polyphonica since both are series I like as well.

  10. GRAvataer liandras on August 15th, 2007 at 12:42 am

Katie, uhm… and what is wrong with dattebayo subs for naruto?!? … Besides, Yesy has much more important projects to tackle than… naruto.. :P

Sorry to see Zero dropped, I was loving it. I wish the translators the best in all they do from this point on. :D hmmm time to check out other yesy projects now that zero is.. well.. axed :)

  11. GRAvataer Sithstormjedi on August 15th, 2007 at 1:24 am

    go here:
    http://www.tokyotosho.com/
And search they have the show until episode 6
and yesy’s projects for bittorent download
However you (yesy) should get 2-4 translators for a project no just one… that way they projects will go faster and you wont make the people waiting… Like for example tranlator a gets episode 1 translator b gets 2 and etc but if theres some1 missing some1 will fill in…

  12. GRAvataer thedarkhaze on August 15th, 2007 at 3:03 am

As much as switching translators around when one goes missing sounds like a good idea on paper. It really doesn’t work well at all as the consistency of the translation would vary from episode to episode. Every translator is a person and every person interprets words differently. Although the general meaning may be the same, the subtle nuances can shift from person to person and thus the extra meaning that can come from structure of sentences and such is dependent on the translator. If you use one translator for one episode and another for a different episode the interpretation of the episode will change from episode to episode and it can potentially be very confusing and not fun for the viewers if they keep getting different levels of understanding.

  13. GRAvataer Sithstormjedi on August 15th, 2007 at 5:04 pm

well yea you have a point but it isnt fun also if the viewers have to wait for a show and then to realize that they dropped it… Although i dont mind the understanding part cause i myself has watch animes with other sub groups and to my surprise almost every one of them are about the same…

  14. GRAvataer misha on August 17th, 2007 at 6:21 am

It’s a pity when a sub group drops a series, but at least you’ve told peeps about it, and apologised, as well as giving the legitimate reasons for doing so. I know many will be disappointed, but at least you’ve stated the reason why, which I think justifies your motives.

The Triad (a.k.a. ‘The Traitors’) take note. Dropping “MGLNStrikerS” after ep. 1 , then taking a ‘F**k You’ attitude about it to your fans was the worst thing imaginable. At least Yesy picked up the ball & ran with it, making them SUPERIOR to you. Subbing may be just a hobby, but that doesn’t give you the right to treat the ultimate consumers (& enjoyers) of your hobby in the way you did. And it wouldn’t surprise me if many ex-Triad forum members now frequented Yesy’s site as a result of such.

  15. GRAvataer Sithstormjedi on August 17th, 2007 at 8:34 pm

Well Triad did sub the first season on Mahou Shoujo Lyrical nanoha…. plus triangle hearts which was a series that msln took from and turned into another anime making the original characters from Triangle hearts to minor characters plus they did Msln A’s too… Anyways Yesy wasnt the only one subbing strikers…
Acutally i liked the other sub group than yesy cause Raising heart in yesy’s subs is acctually Raging Heart… -.-

  16. GRAvataer aers on August 18th, 2007 at 12:10 am

No, it’s very much Raising Heart.

  17. GRAvataer Sithstormjedi on August 18th, 2007 at 12:14 pm

in strikers Nanoha says Raising heart but in the first and second she says raging heart more than raising heart

  18. GRAvataer walaairolg on August 19th, 2007 at 9:06 pm

    is more likely Raising Heart

  19. GRAvataer aers on August 21st, 2007 at 12:24 am

    Official Nanoha A’s Card

    Any questions.

  20. GRAvataer Sithstormjedi on August 21st, 2007 at 3:36 pm

Uh.. Yea… Why does Nanoha say Raging heart in the beginning season then? more often than raising heart…

  21. GRAvataer Sithstormjedi on August 21st, 2007 at 3:38 pm

and that doesnt explain why she prounounces Raging heart more likely… Since im not japanese i cant translate the original japanese text for the device… If it is ACTUALLY translation from Kanji

  22. GRAvataer aers on August 21st, 2007 at 7:47 pm

    It’s not in Kanji >_>
    「レイジングハート・エクセリオン」

  23. GRAvataer Sithstormjedi on August 22nd, 2007 at 12:14 am

Like i said im not japanese so pardon me if i get things wrong… anyways any1 can translate this?
Nanoha says Reijingu Hāto for her device… Despite my lack of accent of japanese it seemed like Raging heart or raising heart more or less…

  24. GRAvataer B1 on August 31st, 2007 at 6:48 pm

Well, thanks for doing the couple of episodes – yours was the best version out there, but there’s not much you can do if you lose the translator. Keep up the good work guys (& gals).

  25. GRAvataer Sithstormjedi on November 18th, 2007 at 2:54 pm

i think Yourmom subs or ayu subs are better though
