No, it’s going to be 5 months at the very least. Yesy is gathering a group of people to do a special dub of the episode. Given the sheer number of female roles to fill, and the fact that most anime nerds know a grand total of zero girls, it will take some time to complete the project.

The poll did show that most people wanted the release together. This is how we were originally going to release it but after watching 25, that changed. Mostly because 25 could be the ending episode really. So many huge plot endings, changes, etc happened in 25 that they in my mind could have ended it right there. Which is why the idea of splitting up the releases came to mind.
@Everyone for the 5 months thing: LAWL. New addition, 26 doesn’t get released until each staff member eats a piece of cheesecake….AND WE’RE ALL OUT OF CHEESE CAKE.

You know I bake the BEST cheesecake. I made an Oreo Cheesecake for my friends b-day and if it gets 26 out sooner, I’d be happy to bake one for you!
No matter how much QUALITY this series showed in its animation, how little development some characters showed, or how much weirdness didn’t get explained on-screen, episode 25 more or less makes up for it.
Pure pwnage, REFLEX CANNON beam spam, HOT BLOOD SMASHING THROUGH MODE, and what happens when you mess with WHITE DEVIL’s offspring. Right now, if the Nanoha anime franchise ended with StrikerS #26, it wouldn’t be such a bad end.
… I am even more convinced that, in the beginning, Seven Arcs wanted to make the next Super Robot Wars anime series, but got told to make a Lyrical Toy Box anime instead.
So they bent and twisted and broke the rules to make what they wanted within the framework of what they were supposed to make, and StrikerS is the ultimate expression of that.

It took almost 2 weeks for episode 25 to come out. Yesy’s already said they’re not releasing them simultaneously; I’d expect at least another few days for the next one to come out.
Be patient, man, things take time. Besides, episode 25 isn’t a bad ending for StrikerS, seeing how many loose ends it ties up… At least we finally got to see some serious WHITE DEVIL BEFRIENDING.

That and they do have lives unlike some people. So just relax and wait, they will release it when they release it.

I seriously think a season 4 that covers the time between A’s and Strikers is a good Idea. It won’t have the team battles yet, but Nanoha and co. are working for the TSAB.
I like to see more about what happened to Nanoha when she over-did it and was hospitalized as a result.

It’s a nice day out today. Mostly because there was no sun really and it was just like luke warm temp outside kinda feeling if you know what I mean. In other news I almost ran over a moron who decided that he would like to jump in middle of the street and give me the finger. Now I’m not sure about you but I wouldn’t jump into the street to give someone the finger in a 35mph zone. I’m just not that stupid. Apparently he was pissed off at me honking at his moron friend who was trying to parallel park but like veered his car into the street without looking to see if anyone was coming down the road as he was trying to perfect his parking. I thought he was parked…well I guess not and me having to slam onto my brakes wasn’t a nice thing. What ever I guess lol. At least after he was done parking and I was able to watch moron in middle of the street for half a minute I could continue my journey(PERIOD) I’m happy it’s all done and over with but I kinda wanted to run over the guy who flipped me off. Is that road rage? Probably. LULZ. In the end I do feel sorry… …for my car. But he’ll be okay the brakes just got a bit more worn than normal. The good news is though that today went really fast at work. You know like umm it goes really really fast and the clock looks like it has time traveled? Seriously, though, I was skeptical about the quality of these releases for quite a while both due to yesy’s reputation as a speedsub group and having been rather miffed at some practices in translation, subtitle formatting, and encode quality. The reality is a bit different in the end: These certainly aren’t speedsubs and for fansubbers, the translations are rather well done. Hard-encoded subtitles and the rather distracting karaoke aside, the encode is solid, though I do wonder why h264 wasn’t used for video compression. Also, the audio is a bit low-bitrate at times, a reality that I feel rather certain vorbis would fix nicely.
I’m gonna say this production rates

+ Sharp, clean video encode; Decent translation
- Audio suffers compression artifacts; large xvid/mp3 avi file at SD resolution

*sigh* I really wish Yesy could hurry up with ep 26. I’ve watched ep 26 raw a couple of time already and I’d love to see if I’ve understood everything correctly with my limited understanding of the language. One thing I can not do is read much Japanese though and I wonder if that is what’s causing this release to be delayed so much? The ending is just like Nonoha A’s with a lot of follow on info in kanji during the ending credits. I bet translating it all correctly is proving to be a major pain.
Btw the hold up is pretty much my fault. I’ve been swamped with tests, projects, job applications, and interviews. There really wouldn’t have even been a hold up if they didn’t do the damn full version of the ED song. So, yeah…basically for the past few weeks, timing the song was pretty low on my priority list. sorry. Anyway, ED is timed now and moving into QC.
