While yesy has “dropped” the Night Wizard project at episode 3, Shinsen-Subs will still continue it and pick up the parts yesy was doing. Please continue to support Shinsen-Subs and their future releases of this project.

I personally dropped this series after the first episode so I can’t blame Yesy for stopping to sub it (quite the contrary, actually).

Same Here, but is time to change of fandub. Eclipse Productions has good fandub.
Saw this coming from the moment YesY was failing to operate as a group.
Shinsen likes to “own” their shows, I’m not surprised it worked out this way. -_-

FLAG should be the obvious one, as it was licensed ages ago.
Nightwizard. Lack of communication and a bunch of fumbles on both the yesy side and shinsen side have lead to the break off of this joint. We we’re going to continue it, but a few members of the team felt we should just drop it and move on to something else. I was one of those members, and so, we’ll just pick something else up in the new season. But for now, there are other nightwizard fansubs, enjoy them till it gets gobbled up by adv or the likes.

If I’m reading the above right, Shinsen will finish the season, but drop the series after that.

Anime Yoshi is still doing Night Wizard, their releases may be a little slow compared to shinsen or a few other groups but their quality isn’t too bad
it seems that theyre gonna be on standby for a long time ^^
If you want Poly theres the last episodes in the internet thankfully for you the sub group picked it up and continued

You guys decide to sub something and drop it later??? What kind of freaking attitude is that??? Is Yesy still going to sub anything else? There hasn’t been anything since the release of Night Wizard 1.

Dropping stuff means that you guys are failures and don’t have the determination to do something properly. And don’t say that you guys have decided to get a life. If you guys had a life you wouldn’t be subbing anime in the first place.

Wow, haven’t dropped by since Nanoha StrikerS ended.
Well, I guess this means Yesy is taking a well-deserved break, especially since it’s finals season (we all figured some of the staff are university types, so they’re probably too busy to sub anything anyways).
Take a break, have a great holiday season, and relax; I’m gonna go rewatch StrikerS now.

Maybe there’s nothing else with raws available that they want to sub. The new season starts in January so now is a bad time to start something new if they want to be able to pick up a series then. Of the shows on Yesy’s project page, Night Wizard is dropped, Strikers is finished and they’ve said they’re doing a dvd version and Polyphonica has four more eps to go.
Personally, I’m hoping Yesy have been quiet because they’re putting together a Christmas present of the remaining four eps of Polyphonica. That would be nice…

Have you considered that maybe they just don’t want to do it anymore?
If they dont want to sub anime anymore, thats their desicion. BUT! The point when they dont tell their fans about it, or not even updating on what they’re planning now (also called: FBF – Fansubbers Big FAIL) is already reached.
One would think that you people (specifically the ones complaining of nothing coming out) would make those comments in the forums if you wanted to be heard.

if they where pull out the site might have gone done, hosting costs money and it doesn’t look like they use a blog site

If you have nothing to do, then pick up Ayakashi, a new series just released before other fansubs take it.
Eh, so they’ve dropped under the radar for a while. Bigdeal. If they’re taking a break? Good for them (though I highly support status updates…However I’ve been led to expect little from YesY in this area). If they’re re-evaluating their priorities? Okay, peoples values change as they move through life. Again, good for them.

They have? When? They’ve only put out 8 eps – it’s a 12 ep series. Another group subbed the last four eps ages ago, but Yesy haven’t finished it.
there’s no point in finishing what other already did so they are taking an indefinite break now
