Possible error at 11:57; you have Hitomi referring to Sayaka with “-chan”, but so far as I can can tell she actually uses “-san”. Yes, I know, nitpicking.
Also, how close is Kyuubey’s discourse on entropy to the Japanese? Because THAT IS NOT HOW ENTROPY WORKS OH GOD. Energy is never lost from a closed system, it merely degenerates into a form from which no more work can be extracted. Said form being homogenously distributed heat, making the burning log example even more awkward.

Thanks for pointing that out. That seems to have been missed in QC. I changed it for the TS version.
The translation for that was extremely accurate, as it was one of the most important dialogues in the episode (and the most revealing for the show so far). I was yelling at my screen when I first saw it, too. I’d say they were trying to speak to the theory for the heat death of the universe, but just by the clumsy use of language I bet they really didn’t know what they were talking about…

haha, you’re underestimating Urobuchi Gen, oh and if you don’t know he’s the one writing the script and doing the series composition and he’s the author of Fate Zero LN (Fate Stay Night Prequel) and the famous Saya no Uta VN. ^^

If Homura is confirmed to be from an alternate timeline (I don’t see any way for the writers to 180 on that) then the universe of Madoka Magica is defiantly NOT CLOSED SYSTEM. Aiding in the explanation of why Madoka has more potential then Kyubey said is theoretically possible (so much that she may be able to alter the laws of the universe). Where it goes from there I don’t know.
I miss the TS versions XD

They are probably having problems getting a TS.
For the time being just delight yourself with the regular version, which IMO is decent enough. The .ts versions are basically for archiving.
Umm… my bandwidth is kinda slow. So I hate it if I have to download both regular versions and then the .ts versions…
Ah well, I believe they’re going to release it anyway. So I’ll wait patiently for the .ts ver…

Any chance you gave us at fixing our world dies with Sayaka’s reputation. We bet it all on her. The Incubator took the best of us and tore her down. People will lose hope.
Homura: They won’t. They must never know what she did.
Kyouko: Two magical girls got killed, one of them became a witch? You can’t sweep that up!
Homura: No. But The Incubator cannot win. [kneels down next to Sayaka, whose scarred left side is facing up] This world needs its true hero. [turns Sayaka's head so that her unmarred side faces up]
Kyouko: [immediately understanding] No!
Homura: “You either die a magical girl, or you live long enough to see yourself become the witch.” I can do those things because I’m not a hero, not like Sayaka or Mami. I killed those people. That’s what I can be.
Kyouko: No, no! You can’t, you’re not!
Homura: I’m whatever this world needs me to be. [hands Kyouko her radio] Call it in.
Kyouko: They’ll hunt you.
Homura: You’ll hunt me. You’ll condemn me, set the dogs on me. Because that’s what needs to happen. Because sometimes… the truth isn’t good enough. Sometimes people deserve more. Sometimes people deserve to have their faith rewarded.
[Homura runs]
Madoka: Homura? Homura! Why is she running, Kyouko-chan?
Kyouko: Because we have to chase her.
Madoka: She didn’t do anything wrong.
Kyouko: Because she’s the hero this city deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So, we’ll hunt her, because she can take it. Because she’s not our hero. She’s a silent guardian. A watchful protector. A Puella Magi.
